Meet Ouma Suzan a seamstress! She saves with AWEC Africa Walukuba Danida savings group. She is thirty-four years old,
a mother of two children and a married woman. She joined AWEC in the year 2020 and her goal was saving to buy a sewing machine.
Suzan saved up to Two hundred thousand shilling (200,000/=) and was able to buy a sewing machine.
Her African wear shop is doing so well that now she has started tutoring other women tailoring and her saving target in 2021 is to buy an Over lock machine.
